COMPLIANCE CONSULTANCY
Compliance consultancy for Irish home support providers.
Independent support to work out where your service stands against the coming regulation, and practical help putting the changes in place. A mock inspection tells you the position. Consultancy is the work of getting there.
THE APPROACH
Findings are the easy part
CareReady identifies where the gaps are, prioritises them, and then helps put the changes in place. Not a report that sits on a shelf.
Delivered remotely or on-site, for providers nationwide.
THE SERVICE
Where the mock inspection ends, the work begins
CareReady provides compliance consultancy, structured gap analysis and practical implementation support for homecare providers preparing for statutory regulation.
The service examines areas including governance, workforce, service delivery, policies, documentation, risk and quality systems, and provides clear, practical recommendations to address identified gaps.
Where a full mock inspection is more than you need to begin with, a compliance health check or an initial management consultation establishes the position. Where one has already been carried out, consultancy is how the findings become changes that hold.
The work is guided by a framework Sarah developed from the legislation that will govern home support providers, so a review tracks what providers are likely to be measured against rather than a generic checklist.

Five ways to work together
Every engagement is scoped and quoted after an initial consultation, because cost depends on provider size, the number of staff and service users, the scope of the review and the level of support required. There is no single published price, and one would not be useful to anybody.

FROM ONE SUPPLIER
Untrained staff to an evidenced file, without changing supplier
Most compliance consultancies do not deliver training, and most trainers do not carry out compliance reviews. CareReady does both, which means the gap a review finds in your training records is a gap the same person can close.
Staff training and competency testing
Structured induction, refresher training and practical competency assessment, delivered on-site. Training records are one of the first things a review looks at, so it helps to fix them at source.
Mock inspection
An independent structured review against relevant Irish homecare requirements, with a written report and a prioritised action plan.
QUESTIONS
Questions providers ask before starting
A mock inspection is a single structured review that tells you where your service stands. Consultancy is the work around it: establishing the position in the first place if a full inspection is more than you need, and turning the findings into changes afterwards. Many providers use both, and they can be combined into one package.
No. An initial management consultation or a compliance health check is often the sensible starting point, and the scope is agreed from there.
Both. Rather than simply identifying gaps, CareReady helps providers understand what needs to change and how to address it in practice, and corrective action planning and implementation support are part of the service.
No. CareReady is an independent consultancy. Under the Home Support Providers Act 2026, HIQA holds the statutory register for home support services and registration is applied for to the Chief Inspector. Nothing CareReady does is carried out on behalf of, or endorsed by, HIQA or the HSE.
The compliance consultancy service is built for home support providers, because that is what the incoming regulation covers. Nursing homes are welcome for staff training, which is delivered to both settings.
Package-based, with a fixed quotation following an initial consultation. Cost depends on provider size, the number of staff and service users, the scope of the review and the level of support required.
READY WHEN YOU ARE
Find out where you stand, before someone else tells you.
A short initial consultation to talk through your organisation, your current systems and what you actually need. No obligation on either side.
